COVID-19 - OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
Rest assured that, as a provider of essential utilities, Northern Oil Company will continue to operate throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. We have implemented a number of changes to ensure the health and safety of all concerned.
We will regularly review and update our operational procedures inline with government information and advice. Our primary concern is the health and safety of our staff, customers, and the wider community in which we serve.
Our depot in Nottingham has been designated a COVID-19 SECURE 2020 DEPOT. A full COVID-19 risk assessments has been carried out and we comply with all measures set out in the official guidelines.
DEPOT
- Hand washing facilities are available with bottled hand sanitisers located in areas where washing facilities are not available
- Frequent cleaning and disinfecting of objects and surfaces that are regularly touched
- Ensure social distancing rules (inline with current government guidelines) are adhered to at all times
- Encourage contactless card payments where possible
ON-SITE DELIVERIES
- Drivers are instructed to keep contact with customers, 3rd parties etc. to a minimum, and to adhere to the government's current guidelines on social distancing
- Customers will not be asked to sign for deliveries. A vehicle-mounted, weights and measures sealed meter will stamp the delivery ticket with the precise quantity of fuel delivered.
- We encourage our drivers to assess the health and safety risk of all deliveries, and to refuse delivery if they believe there is a risk to either themselves, the customer, or members of the public
We will continue to monitor the advice and instructions given by the government, and will act in accordance with any future changes that may be introduced.
